no. 251 – (Not So) Wordless Wednesday, 5th Installment

Hot_rod_1

X was just shy of turning two when Mr. DD painted this pedal car to be auctioned at a fund-raiser. I wish we had bought it ourselves because as happy as he was to sit in it, he was quite crestfallen when it was no longer around. Hell, I would have loved to have had a pedal car like this when I was a kid!

  1. Oh, I love that car. Nicolas would positively go bonkers for a chance to ride in that thing.

    What a cutie!

  2. What a fabulous car! I can’t believe you didn’t buy it. The Boy would love it!

  3. Nice! I would have LOVED that as a kid.

  4. Very cool car, cute kid, great photo!

  5. Cat, my site never remembers me, either. I have even tried going to tools/internet options/privacy and change the setting for cookies. No, I don’t know much about it. I just went to “help” to get some info.

Anyone else want to chime in on why my site doesn’t remember you as I know it’s happening to a quite a few.

  6. Awesome car! The kid ain’t too bad lookin’ either. 😉

  7. That is too cute. Little would love one of those and is trying to convince Mr. Alli to build him a go cart, too. Yikes!

  1. Pssstttt… I know its not nearly as cool, but if ya bring him over, I bet Dotter-S would be willing to share her barbie Jeep or barbie 3-wheeler. This is a great pic, tho’!

  2. That’s a booo-ti-ful car! Remembering the great pix of your son at the monster truck rally, I can bet he was sad when the car went away!

  3. Whoa!! Cool paint job Mr DD!

Maggie has the little red Radio Flyer 2 seater wagon, maybe Mr DD can do a little “Pimp My Ride” paintjob on it???

How come this thing never remembers me??

  4. Nice! I would have LOVED that as a kid.

  8. What a cool paint job. Contributing solvents, eh?

I’m sure X would have given his best blankie away for that. I have pictures of my son at 19 months in a defunct kiddie jeep at he grandmother’s. She got it free somewhere b/c it didn’t run, but I think most of her grandkids felt that running is over rated. Sitting is just fine.

  9. Just came across your site while searching for people interested in pedal cars and I must say that you have such a cutie and that car is slammin! I have a few pedal cars that may interest you, even one that can be built. If you are interested, check out my site. Hope to see you there! QualityPedalCars.com
