no. 527 – When Angels Become Mortal

This morning I received an email from Kath’s husband, M. I had to read and re-read his note to finally comprehend what has happened:

"Please excuse the seismic jolt you felt…It was the world moving around its new axis…"

Kath’s daughter arrived safely at 8 lbs and 6 oz and 21"!

Kath is my soul sister and I couldn’t be happier for her. Kath’s sibling put it eloquently:  "I am happy to report the births of a beautiful new mother … and her presumably even more beautiful daughter…"

I have to admit, my heart feels very full right now and the air smells a bit sweeter.

Sharing in the excellent news, Thalia delivered her little girl, Pob, yesterday. Thalia was the first person to add my blog to her sidebar all that time ago. What a road we have traveled in that time.

Maybe you don’t know either of these ladies, but I’m telling you, they have shown me an incredible amount of support over these past couple of years. Congratulations doesn’t come close to expressing how excited I am for them and their husbands.
