WHY GOD TAKES CHILDREN

When God calls little children
To dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question
The wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with,
The death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our world,
Seem so wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
The aged to His fold,
So He picks a rosebud
Before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
And so He takes but few,
To make the land of heaven
More beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
Still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind
knows will always be Good-by.
So when a little child departs,
We who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find.

  1. too much sadness on the internet these days.

    May God bless those families.

  2. That tore me up. My heart is broken for these families. I cannot even imagine the pain and anger…

  3. No fair making me cry in the morning.

Thank for sharing this it is beautiful.

  4. Personally, I don’t care what the reason is…it should never happen. I am so sad for the loss in our community lately. 😦

  5. There is no explanation, rational, irrational, religious or not that could make me comprehend why something so horrible happens.

    • i no how hard this is for you my daughter feels the same way as you do like i told her god didnt take your child to hurt you he does love you he will bless you with another one please have faith

      • Mitzi, your faith is admirable and I can tell it has helped you through many troubled times. However, I’ve seen too many times where God doesn’t bless a family with another one. In fact, I’ve seen him take the next, and the next and even sometimes the next after that. I hope for your daughter’s sake her faith is restored.

  6. my daughter loss her child 8 months ago we were so sad didnt understand why it had to happen but now i do and its ok cause for everyone he takes he gives back not to replace but a gift o his love for you
